Horai email list privacy notice

Effective 2026-10-17. Consent text version 1.

This notice covers the Horai beta list on gwiddonatelier.com/horai/. It is separate from the Horai app privacy policy, which covers the app itself. The app collects nothing. The list is a website form, and it collects one thing: your email address.

What I Collect

What I collect, and what I keep

When you join the list I store your email address, the date and time you ticked the consent box, the version of the consent text you agreed to, and where you signed up from (the website, or a market table). That is the whole record. No name, no location, no tracking of what you open or click.

[LOREM: optional, one sentence in your voice. Delete the line if the paragraph above says it.]

What It Is For

What I use it for

One confirmation email when you join. Progress notes now and then until the beta opens. One email when the Horai closed test opens, with the invite. Release news after that: when Horai reaches Google Play, and when a version changes something you would want to know about.

Nothing else. I do not sell the list, rent it, share it, or use it for anything other than Horai.

Who Can See It

Where it lives and who can see it

The list lives in a database on the server that runs this website, which I rent from Hetzner. Only I can read it. Email is sent through [FILL: the sending service, once the laptop agent wires it; "my own mail server" is the current truth for the notification path], which sees the addresses it delivers to and nothing more.

Leaving

Unsubscribe, and deletion

Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Use it and you stop getting mail from me the same day. Unsubscribing keeps a record that you were on the list and left, so that a mistake cannot add you back.

If you want the record gone entirely, write to apps@gwiddonatelier.com from the address on the list and I delete it. Deleted means deleted from the database, not marked.

Changes

If this changes

If the list is ever used for anything beyond what is written here, this page changes first, the consent text version at the top goes up, and nobody already on the list is treated as having agreed to the new use.
